Breaking News : Plaza Mexico celebrates its 64th Anniversary

On this day, February 5 1946, Plaza Mexico was inaugurated amidst a full house with a grand cartel of:
Luis Castro "El Soldado", "Manolete" & Luis Procuna, with bulls from San Mateo.
Its birthday is celebrated with a bullfight, usually with the best of the best.
Today the bullfight is a duel (mano a mano) between Rafael Ortega and Sebastian Castella, with bulls from Los Encinos.
Start time of the bullfight is at 5:00 PM PST and can be seen at www.justin.tv/rei10 via internet stream.
